Links - Back from Vermont

https://bluebed.net/ Which cartoonists have the best websites? Liana F and Roman M have substacks.

https://nintil.com/critiques-ea The argument itself doesn’t interest me but I’m interested in the FORMAT of the post at the link, and like to see more of that kind of thing, the green and red and yellow boxes. I’d like to try this out. It makes me think of this:

DFW, a cool format, but see here for big thumbs down

https://ava.substack.com/p/against-narratives Didion here and also see here for Know Your Enemy on Didion.

I also enjoyed Blanchfield on KYE here re: Freud & Politics and here re: guns.

https://www.laetusinpraesens.org/pdfs/2010s/globes_2018.pdf This is one of the most insane essays I’ve seen in a while. I came across that guy’s website and was like hmmm? and then I saw this (giant) essay. “Proscenium design often has an extraordinary degree of suggestion of vaginal anatomy.” Is this satire? I apologize for even linking to this.

https://ventrellathing.wordpress.com/2015/07/26/yes-the-future-can-change-the-present-on-terrance-deacons-incomplete-nature/ I have a saved search for “Terrence Deacon” on Twitter and I try to follow up on anyone who posts about him. That lead me to this link. In this short post I think he blurs brains/minds, and he connects it all to entrepreneurship, but I forgive it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Rogers Learning about Carl Rogers. Also I tried to watch this crazy boring yet fascinating video.

There’s a lot to listen to here. See here for more. Uploads of old deeply out of print in-between sounds.

I listened to this podcast (it doesn’t matter what it’s about) on the drive to Vermont and it was pretty good.
