More Computer

If you want to get ahead in your career, make sure you have a blog. There was a time before this was said, and then a time after. It seemed true, only–you had to wonder, do I do a thing for its own sake or to get to another thing? Like a job or “position” or something? Then after that are you supposed to stop blogging or keep doing it? I guess it means I would sit at a computer and type, every day, for what seems like a long time. More than seems normal. Is that how I should adjust my life? More computer?

The French River at Night is Officially Selected

The French The River at Night was selected as an “official selection of the Festival” at Angouleme. Check out the others here.

It was published by Delcourt, and I think it turned out well. I’m grateful to everyone at D&Q and Delcourt who works on my books, I know it’s a lot of work, and I’m grateful for the care and attention that goes into taking the books to print and to market and to the hearth and home of comics-loving children of all ages, all over the globe.

Running List of ALL "F" e-zines (*updated 7/7/23*)

This is an Index/Node post—more can be found here (link).

In this post I will try to keep track of all the “F” e-zines I have posted and where they are available, whether for free or for subscribers only.

For more info and to subscribe to these “electronic magazines” and receiving them as they are published, each month, see here.

The images below sometimes sample pages in a column to the right of the cover. Most issues are 32 or more pages.

This post is “Under Construction” and always probably incomplete, so if the post hasn’t been updated in a while, for the newest issues, see here and here or here..

New zine - F 2020.2

The second in the “F 2020” trilogy. 32 pages, color xeroxed.

This is a print version of the electronic magazine I sent subscribers in June of 2020, after my mom passed away. It contains more writing and photos than comics or sketches.

Subscribers will receive a print zine in the mail this month, and all others can purchase a copy from here.

October 2021 "F" electronic magazine

As you know, I make monthly “e-zines” for subscribers ($3/month), and now I’m going to start selling them as well here on my store for a bit more since subscribing is the way to go.

It’s a .pdf file, formatted like a 5.5x7 zine, 40 pages. See below for thumbnails of what’s in this issue.

If you would like to subscribe follow this link.
